Kane Roberts played a similar guitar when he played for Alice Cooper in 1987 and 1988:

Ronnie Montrose had this cool one, which appears to be made using an actual rifle stock:

The six string may use more ammo than the 4 string.

This was just a painting, but the first gun-guitar I ever saw was on the cover of Ted Nugent's 1978 album "Weekend Warriors":

Kane Roberts was an amazing site to behold on stage. Conan the Guitarist.

Hunter, surely you have a picture of Jesse James Dupree's microphone stand - from the band Jackyl - made of a shotgun that he actually fires during concerts. I always got a kick out of that one.

That explains a telephone call I received from Mark Arnold last year when he was setting up the music at the Easy Rider Rodeo show in Chillicothe, OH. He asked me if I had a wooden chair I could bring to the show so that one of the bands could destroy it as part of their show. Jackyl was playing directly after Webb Wilder's performance. He later called back and said he had a wooden stool so he no longer needed the chair. Jackyl must chainsaw through a lot of furniture during the year. Dolly, Buckwheat and I left right after Webb's performance so we didn't get to witness the chair being sawed up.

Yeah, sawing up a stool at the end of the show is always a part of the finale -- when they play the song Lumberjack. I used to really dig them wild redneck rockers... Tom Bettini the former Bass player is from the Tri-Cities - lived in Kingsport and Johnson City both I understand... not sure whatever happened to him after he left Jackyl.
