Howdy, folks! Well, big thanks to those of ya'll who turned out last weekend for my shows at the Princess Theater Listening Room in Decatur, AL, and the Wood and Wire Songwriter Festival in Alpharetta, GA, where I really enjoyed swappin' songs with Randall Bramblett and Betsy Franck.

So, a Chickie and a DUCK? In one week!?!? Hey, poultry and poetry... that's how I roll! What?

I AM gonna play solo acoustic this Thursday, 10/16/2025, at the fabulous Chickie Wah Wah in New Orleans, LA. Doors at 7pm, showtime 8pm. New Orleans in the Fall is a natural ball, ya'll! It's incredible any time, but October and November are the optimal months to be in the Crescent City.

Then on Saturday, 10/18/2025, I will be at one of my long time favorites, The Mucky Duck in Houston, TX, another solo show. Showtime is 9:30pm for that one. Both of these are songs-and-stories sort of affairs, and you know I got me some stories to tell!

We still have some of the new maroon version of the Hillbilly Speedball T-shirts, bearing Flournoy Holmes' magnificent artwork. If you want one, best get it now, as we order these in very small batches. I'm not sure what the next batch will even be!

Speaking of Hillbilly Speedball, the same is true for the vinyl: limited quantity. 500 vinyl copies of the Night Without Love album were pressed, and they're all gone. Will there ever be a second pressing? Don't know. Hillbilly Speedball is another 500 unit small pressing, so, there ya go... jus' sayin'.

I seldom play a solo/acoustic songs-and-stories show in Nashville, but will be doing one at the new Douglas Corner Country Place on Saturday, 11/8/2025. Again, jus' sayin'.
