Hi-de, hi-de, hi-de, HO! What? I don't know. Guess I was thinkin' about Cab Callaway or somethin'. My mind wanders, but it usually comes home by dark.

How ya doin'? Man, I really DO hope this blast from the ether finds you all doing well! Really! I'm crankin' out radio on WMOT and gettin' ready for another Southern swing of solo shows.

Can you believe I'm going BACK to Water Valley, Mississippi?!? Yep. AND... it's a groovy little town. I spent the night there after playing the Thacker Mountain Radio Hour in nearby Oxford, MS, a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself. Remember the wandering mind I mentioned earlier in this missive?

OKAY, this FRIDAY night, May 5th, 2023, I will be a' renderin' in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, at Champy's Fried Chicken, from 7pm until 9pm. I know it sounds crazy, but you would be surprised how many of the great Muscle Shoals session dudes pick there right regular! That will be fun.

THEN, on Saturday, May 6th, I'll motor over to Water Valley, MS, for a solo/acoustic performance for the folks from This Is Noteworthy, who hold their shows in a groovy little space right on the main drag there, with comfy couches and vibe for days. If any of you have ever been to the wonderful and precious Red Dragon In Baton Rouge, this is like a slightly smaller version of that.

Anyway, I will have the usual baubles, bangles, bright shiny beads, etc. for your perusal and potential purchasing, and as an added feature. I plan to sing and play my full grown heart out at both shows!

I'm looking forward to my show In Jacksonville, FL later this month (Thursday, May 18th), and my solo show at Nashville's City Winery on Sunday, June 11th. Come on!
