Subject: Webb on Beale St. Caravan Radio this week
Hey, y'all! In Oct. Webb played the venerable Arkansas Blues Heritage Festival - formerly known as the King Biscuit Fest. They recorded some of this which will be replayed on this week's show beginning on Wednesday! www.bealestreetcaravan.com/index.cfm?ID=1.0&ShowID=090325-26

This week is Webb and Bobby Rush, with Cybil Shepard as your host.

You can check what local station might carry this show and when on their site too. If none are in your area, find one and listen live on the net. For instance WEVL Memphis runs their show Tues. from noon to 1pm Central time.

Perhaps an alert historian, um, Hunter, may be able to record this somehow for our future listening pleasure?

Nancy

I don't know if this is the same show, but yesterday I heard Webb's name mentioned on National Public Radio in regards to one of their upcoming shows.

Captured! MP3s of the Webb portion of Beale Street Caravan can be found on my Webb site. I've included both the entire Webb portion as a single MP3, as well as individual MP3s for each song.

The songs aired were: "Pretty Little Lights Of Town," "Loud Music," "Changing Colors," "Ju Ju Man," and "Baby, Please Don't Go."

Your vocals on "Pretty" were also pretty low in the mix, though it was corrected for later songs.
