Is it true Webb is the youngest son of Brisco Darlin? I thought of this when reading about the acoustic set Webb will be doing. When will we get the Webb unplugged C.D? I'm sure this has been asked before but here we go again. What about it Webb?

So Webb sez "Don't tax your faculties..."

I hear Pablo Jelm is famous all through the South as "The Man Who Met Aaaandy Griffith"!

Yes, that's a Married With Children reference.

At least I'm not the only one who's "unplugged" around here...

I think Mr. Wilder is way too gregarious to be one of Brisco's boys

I think Tater taught me that word one time

You're close. Pater is a celeb. I've tried to not trade on my gene pool but, now it must come out. I am the son of Elvis. Don't you see the resemblance? That is why I am the rightful heir to his unique, God given, exclusive "Burnin' God Of Love" status. Thank ya, thak ya veruh much. Did he ever really say that? Judy, Judy, Judy. C. G. never said that, ya know. WW

Now I don't claim to be no expert or nothin' but I do know my Cary Grant movies.
Cary never said "Judy, Judy, Judy" in any of his movies. He came close to it in Only Angels Have Wings (1939) with lines such as "Oh Judy" and "Yes, Judy", but he never said it. He did say "Susan, Susan, Susan" however in Bringing Up Baby (1938).
It must have been the way he said Judy that made it sound like it was 3 times: "Jooodae"

I think the far-reaching implications are that Goober himself made that line famous and therefore Cary Grant was borrowing from Goober's fame!!!!!

Very true Webb. Nor did PT Barnum ever say "there is a sucker born every minute." The bible doesn't say the road to hell is paved with good intentions. And H. Bogart never said "Play it again Sam."

I love those.

As I was taking a tumble down a hill at the air and space museum in Huntsville, Alabama, a few years ago, all I could get out was, "Tony, Tony, Tony!" Fat lot of good that did me, though. Tony didn't exactly come running to my rescue, so I continued down the hill and ended up with a nasty ankle sprain.

Usually, before anyone can make an assist after watching someone fall, they must first stop laughing hysterically.

Yeah, it's been years since that fall, and Tony is still laughing.

The story of me meeting Andy Griffith has been greatly exaggerated. I did have a thing with Jaunita down at the diner though. Barney found out and threatened to turn his whole body into a weapon and pummel me.I had to move to Mount Pilot.
Any acoustic Webb out there? You-tube or anything?

I think Tater said it best - about the laughing part before you can actually help the fall victim.

I'm pretty sure Mike & Dori filmed a couple WW songs at an acoustic set and is was posted on youtube.... I guess go there and search - should pop up for you eventually

There's the "Jammin' at Hippie Jack's" program. It has aired but, not on real PBS. That should be coming up, though. WW
