Subject: Visit with Snake
Hey Folks I just returned from the funeral parlor. Lots of friends and family. The mood was fairly upbeat, Snake wouldn't have it any other way. I haven't seen that many lawyers in one place since the 70's, ye gods what a flashback! Anyway the subject of funeral music came up, it was quickly decided that some good ol WW and the beatnicks would be appropriate.

The bus from Taiwan got in late last night so I just got the word on Snake. From Taters post, I backtracked his obit.

Kindly focus on the following:

"Snake was known for his interest in information and obscure facts and his love of rock and roll music, books, pets, good food and good friends."

Snake you got your priorities right. Godspeed my friend.

You are what you is!
Bill: I hope you take up where Snake left off and continue his legacy by learning them obscure facts and loving' that R&R music! See you in Lynchburg.

I met Snake when he moved to Roanoke from Charlottesville about (gasp!) 45 years ago. We were classmates and in the band together. He was always so funny and may have been the most intelligent guy in our class. And, he was known as Snake even then.

Having moved to Florida many years ago, I hadn't seen Snake in quite a while, but remember him well. He is a hard guy to forget, as all who knew him well know..
