Webb is playing a first time venue in Atlanta this Friday. It is owned by a friend of a friend and my bud is helping finance the rebirth of this venture (and Webb's appearance).
They are wanting to build a great venue for us northern sububanites, so please come out. Red and I will see you all there. (Sorry for the shameless plug).

It is on Peachtree Parkway aka Medlock Bridge Road. If you are on 285, you would get off at P'tree Industrial. When the road splits into Ptree Ind and P'tree Parkway (hwy 141), you take the left hand or the Parkway(141). Stay on it for about four miles and you will cross the river, you will see Atlanta Athletic Club and then Old Alabama will be a good sized intersection on the left where it dead ends into Ptree Pkwy. The next strip of shops on the right is where Tavern is located. If you pass Stoney River (good steaks BTW) and cross 120 (Pleasant Hill), you just missed it.
Hope that helps. | |

The only problem is you never know which Peachtree you are on....
What is the last count of Peachtrees in your town....?? I heard it was in the 100's could be embellished a little.
Peachtree St., blvd, lane, parkway.... North Ptree, S. Ptree.... Peachtree Gumbo, Peachtree Kabobs.... no wait that is Bubba Gump Shrimp....

It is thought that it was a misunderstanding regarding a pitch tree that stood at the boundary of the Cherokee and Creek indians in present day Buckhead. Go figure.

Has anyone seen any posters up?
Has anyone seen the opening band previously (a Yardbirds cover band of some sort, I'm told)?

A cover band that can justify being a cover band because they are good fun and good to boot. Definately worth coming early. See ya there...Red (Too lazy to log out Bart and re-sign in)
