Subject: Please Pray...
For those of you who profess Jesus as Christ, please pray for those who are in the path of Hurricane Gustav.

Thank you.

I am praying that it will peter-out myself.

Those who don't profess Jesus as Christ aren't allowed to pray?

Well, those of other beliefs didn't create a thread asking, but I did. Other faiths can do whatever they want. But since I am a believer in Christ Jesus, I asked fellow believers for prayer. It make no sense for me to ask those of other faiths to pray as I don't profess any other belief.

Ghandi, I am not quite sure what you meant by your comment, but now isn't the time to jest or allow feathers to get a good ruffling.I believe that Man from Michigan's preface to his prayer request was added as an honest effort to respect the individual's First Amendment right to freedom of religion. It is my understanding that he was only considering the fact that some people do not pray at all. Perhaps it seems that those who believe differently yet still pray were "left out". I wouldn't advise anyone to go as far as to read that into the request. An over-analysis of the Man from Michigan's post will not accomplish anything.

Thank you Susan. You were absolutely correct. My request was not an attempt to exclude, but to sincerely ask of those who share similar beliefs.
