OK! Now for some upcoming show info. I have a solo/acoustic appearance at Sea Salt, in historic downtown Printer's Alley, here in Nashville, this Wednesday night (11/27/2019) from 8 to 10pm. No cover and the food is great! More dates coming up like The Corner Lounge in Knoxville, TN in December (12/7/2019). The whole list of upcoming shows is down below (see email footer).

On a sadder note, it gives me no pleasure to inform you of the passing of our friend and former bassist, Kelley Looney, who died from health complications recently. A great guy AND a great musician, many of you will remember Kelley from the "Nashvegans" period. "The Nashvegans" was another problematic band name (as if "Beatnecks" wasn't a hard enough name for folks to get right to begin with!). But you see, folks started calling Nashville "Nash VEGAS" quite a few years back. NOW it really is... but, I digress. Kelley toured all over the US and Europe with us back around '93-'95. Before (and after), he played bass with Steve Earle and the Dukes for more years than I can count.

This Wednesday night (11/27/2019) there will be a "Night For Kelley" show and gathering of friends and fans, with a version of John Jackson & the Rhythm Rockers, as well as Steve Earle and the Dukes. This will be happening at the Basement East here in Nashville with all proceeds going to help with Kelley's medical bills and his children. I will try to get there before the end of the night after my gig at Sea Salt. I encourage any and all of you who can to attend either way.

Kelley played all of the bass on the "Town and Country" album as well as on "Flat Out Get It" on "Acres of Suede." If I do say so myself, "Acres" never got the credit it deserved, as the label that originally released it, Watermelon Records, was basically going broke in the album's early weeks. I am very grateful to the fine folks at New West Records for making "Acres" as well as "Town and Country" available again.

There is a NEW WW record in the works. Not sure of a release date just now, but, it will be some time in the new year.

Thanks again, ya'll. I am grateful.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Webb Wilder
