Cypress Moon and The Frog Pond, 10/26 and 10/27

Hello, Wilderians great and small, young and old! I hope this meandering missive finds you well. Fall has FELL. "FALLEN," I know. Not as much fun to say things correctly.

Heck, if I had relied on my ability to do things "right," I would have never made any music at all! Perhaps some of you are thinking that that would have been a good thing! WELL, SURELY NOT! I assume I'm speaking to WILDERIANS, Webb Heads and humans of a shall we say "Webb-ish" bent.

ANYWAY, we had a BALL with The White Animals and their/our fans here in Nashville at The Exit/In last Saturday night! The Beatnecks were in fine fighting form (musically speaking, of course; violence: no bueno). Big thanks to The White Animals for having us and to all the folks who came. Dang, there were a lot of you!

This weekend will find me solo, but, clabber'ratin' some, too. I will be playing "down in the Shoals," as they say, on Saturday night, 10/26/2019. This will be an early (6pm) WW solo/acoustic show, as part of the Howlin' at the Moon Festival taking place at Cypress Moon Studios (formerly Muscle Shoals Sound) in Sheffield, AL.

Then, I will hafta get on the good foot, to get myself down around Fairhope, AL on Sunday, 10/27/2019. Silverhill, to be specific! This one'll be a 3pm show at the fabulous Frog Pond! Always love doin' the Frog Pond Sunday shows. I will be up there entertainin' and interactin' with Jimmy Hall, Donna Hall, Jack Hall, Rick Hirsch, Jamell Richardson, Johnny Nicholas and Stan Foster. Lots more shows coming up in November, too. For reservations and the address, please e-mail Cathe at thefrogpondbluemoonfarm@gmail.com.

What else? Well, the new spin on the old ICFN T-Shirt was a big smash at the Exit/In gig, and we still have some left at WebbWilder.com.

I have spent a lot of time over the last two or three months in the studio with George "the Tone Chaperone" Bradfute, putting the final touches on what will be the next WW album. Hoping for a Spring time release. Stay tuned.

I was in ANOTHER studio recently as well. John Hahn, who manages and writes for Shemekia Copeland, and I wrote a song that Shemekia and her producer, Will Kimbrough, decided to record for her next album. And they asked me to come play guitar on it! THAT was fun. What a nice bunch of folks, too!

Okay! Gotta go do stuff. There's a lot of that these days, don't you find? Stay well. Be cool and don't forget to be WILDER once in a while.

Peas and love...
