"Thursday Night Out" at Cheekwood (Nashville) & Warehouse Concerts (St. Louis)

Doin' stuff. Doin' stuff. Doin' stuff!!! How 'bout ya'll? You know, you don't have to be a big muckety-muck to be busier'n Hale these days, ya know?

Anyway, the thing I love to be busy doing better'n anything else is playing music! I will be doing so twice this week. Both shows are solo/acoustic.

I played this "Thursday Night Out" thing at the beautiful and historic Cheekwood mansion here in Nashville last Thursday, and really enjoyed it. This week I will be doing it again! Lovely setting, kid friendly, food trucks, early show and the weather is supposed to get a LITTLE cooler that day! Those doin's will take place from 6pm until 9pm. Come on!

Then, on Saturday, I will travel to St. Louis, MO to play the Warehouse Concert series which promises to be very groovy, too. Check out this link. Showtime: 8pm. Doors: 6:30pm. AND there's a Pot Luck Supper!

I'll have a bunch of gee-gaws and various folderol at the shows, as well as online (always!) so, there's that... you know.

What else? Hmmm. On October 19th, WW & the Beatnecks will open for the White Animals at the world famous Exit/In here in Nashville, where the live selections from "It Came From Nashville" were recorded in 1986! The White Animals were a big deal and toured all over back in the day. They decided a few years ago to do reunion shows every year or so. It should be a great night.

Lots more coming up between now and the first of the year (see list in footer, below). My radio show,"The List: The Americana Chart Show" will air at its usual times (Friday 2-4pm Central and Saturday 7-9am Central) on WMOT 89.5 or online at wmot.org.

Well, I hope this finds everyone well, and look forward to seeing you at the various shows as the year rolls on.

Osmosis, Ameegers!

What a double bill at the exit/In! In fact, Webb, it has inspired six Sewanee grads ('83) to travel from points north, west, east and south to Nashvegas and the Mountain. See you there - it's been too long.
