Hello, everyone! How are ya? It's hot... I know. Well, that's because it's Summer? I know some of the temps in California have been brutal, granted. All I know about weather is that I have toured in just about every kind of it.
We had a great weekend in Memphis and Knoxville, TN, last weekend. We did have a minor run-in with rain in the process. Our set at Railgarten in Memphis (cool place!) got a bit shortened due to falling H2O, but we had a ball, and really appreciate everyone who came... and STAYED! Kudos! Same for K-Town. Big fun on a Sunday night there. Drove back afterwards. No noddy blinkums for Webby until around 2:15 AM. Ouch.
Okay, THIS week we go the legendary Fitzgerald's Nightclub in Berwyn, IL, on Saturday, 7/14/2018. Always fun. Something we always look forward to. Hoping to see a lot of old and new friends. Dan Whitaker and the Shinebenders will open... here's an event page. Show starts at 9pm. Beatnecks aboard include: Tom Comet, Rick Schell, and Bob Williams. They's good!
The new album, "Powerful Stuff!," has been well received by critics, radio and fans. Very grateful for that! Of course, CDs, DVDs, T-Shirts, posters and I-don't-know-what-all will be for sale at the show and online.
