Boy oh boy ... I'm right pumped about Webb and the boys bein' at the Down Home on June 22 ... a Friday! And hey, that's only 12 ... 21 ... 17 ... uh, not that many days, so I better start walkin' ... see you fellers there!

If I may intrude, BG, I just wanted to briefly comment on Friday's show at the venerable Down Home, Webb's welcome summertime return to the DH after a couple years' absence. A sizeable, appreciative crowd was treated to the "power trio" version of the Beatnecks, with the likewise venerable Messrs. Comet and Schell accompanying WW. The guys provided those in the house a fun, rollicking show, and a good time was clearly had by all.

Now, a couple personal observations ... first, it's always fun watching WW interact with his fans, from the newbies to the old war horses ... on that note, having been a WW fan for more than 30 years, it's when he's in this trio setting that one can see how much the man has grown as a guitarist over the years. It speaks well when one never stops working at one's craft. It's an honor to know the guy.
