sojourns to the holy city of Rock and Roll - Memphis, TN - this Friday,
9/12/14, for a solo, ACOUSTIC performance at Otherlands. The "Idol of
Idle Youth's" first engagement there was last December, and those who
attended enjoyed a special and intimate show from "his Webb-ness!"
Showtime at Otherlands will be 8pm. The Mason Jar Fireflies will open.
On Saturday 9/13/14, WW will make his musical debut in Batesville, AR, at
Fox Creek BBQ, ALSO solo & acoustic, EXCEPT for the portions of his sets
where he will be joined by old pal and guitar ace, Danny Dozier. This
will be a VERY special show, as Webb & Danny have been friends for oh...
forty years or so, but, NEVER performed together until now. Showtime at
Fox Creek BBQ is 7:30pm.
Naturally, there will be CDs, DVDs, stickers, picks, photos and "Wilder
Wear" at both shows. BTW, the "Yard Dog/Lucy Mae" shirts are back in
stock! We're on our THIRD batch of 'em!
Next week finds the Webb man performing with the Beatnecks at 3rd &
Lindsley in Nashville. Later in the month: solo shows in Dallas & Austin,
and of course, the 9th Annual WEBB FEST show with Webb Wilder & the
Beatnecks happens Oct. 4th in Bowling Green, KY at The Capitol Arts
Theater.
