Been doin' a lot of these solo shows lately, and really enjoying them.
This Saturday should be no exception, at the totally groovy Moonlight on
the Mountain, just outside of Birmingham, AL.
It really is a cool spot. Here's how they describe the venue on their
website:
"MOONLIGHT ON THE MOUNTAIN ... has been designed & built to be a warm,
comfortable listening venue, presenting a variety of original acoustic
performers in an informal concert format. Inspired by the appeal of house
concerts & "unplugged" shows favored by musicians & small audiences
nationwide, The Moonlight showcases singers, songwriters &
instrumentalists in a mini-theater environment -- cozy, up close, &
smoke-free. Plus, you can bring your own snacks & beverages! IT'S A
CONCERT HALL ... Neither a bar nor a restaurant, The Moonlight invites
music fans of all ages & tastes to come hear artists of many kinds --
folk, Americana, roots, country & bluegrass -- in a setting as casual &
inviting as your own living room. A spacious stage, with an integrated,
balanced sound system & pro lighting, along with individual chairs &
tables for the audience, creates a first-class setting for performances of
any sort."

So, anyhoo... hope to see ya'll there, and if not, maybe somewhere else
this summer.
Saturday, 6/21, there will be a full band show @ the Mable Barnes
Amphitheater in Mableton, GA, with Webb Wilder & the Beatnecks.
Keep on chooglin'...
