Webb ROCKS! | Yes, it was a great show- Thank you Webb, Tom, Bob and Jimmy- I loved every minute! And so nice that Tater and Dolly made their first visit to Fitzgeralds, and brought some friends, Tom & Laura, along. It was so good to spend some time with you.
Can't even imagine the evening without Curtis, Roger, Jen and Mary being there, and seeing them put the final touch on a perfect night. Hope everyone had a safe journey home, and enjoy this beautiful Sunday!

Webb lit that place up like a Slot Machine that paid off in Silver Dollars! It was standing Room Only and the band put on one of the best shows I've seen anywhere. Chicago can't get enough of Webb and the Beatnecks. Jimmy, Tom and Bob were all spot on and all seemed to really enjoy the energy from the crowd.
The Weeping Willows opened for Webb and played a lot of Patsy Cline music. They had a Steel Guitar Player who was awesome.
It was well worth the 350 mile drive to see Webb in one of his more famous venues. We'll definitely go back for more next time he plays there.

I was thinking maybe " 'Til the End of the Day", but couldn't be sure, so I asked my brother. He knew that it was "All Day and All of the Night", and mentioned that the flip side of "You Really Got Me" was "It's All Right".

It worked on one of my PCs, but not so well on the other. I think using IE8 helped - instead of Firefox - but I'm not sure if it was that, or just that I refreshed the page. It wasn't completely bulletproof, that much is known.
Also, for a good long time, the camera was pointed up at the lights. :-/ Fortunately somebody noticed and re-aimed it after maybe 20-30 minutes.
Nevertheless, it was good to "be" there in some way. Tater, Dolly, Linda et.al.! Sorry I missed you folks. Had to work a long night Friday night and it just wasn't happenin'.

The show is archived there, if anyone still wants to see it. The image was extremely dark, then there's the pointing-to-the-lights time that omatic mentioned. But the sound wasn't too bad.

Funny: the performance by Weepin' Willows was virtually flawless in terms of audio & video. Webb's show on the other hand tended to buffer somewhat (audio sometimes cut out for 3-5 seconds but then resumed right where it left off in any given song) and then there was the camera pointing at the lights for 20-30 minutes...all told, though, it was a great performance and I really hope that WW does this thing again with the live broadcast ; I enjoyed the show immensely and could NOT swing the 1000-miles-each-way road trip. Thanks a lot. PS - for the WW diehard fans, the audio of the webcast is extremely easy to record ; I don't know how one could record the video portion.......
