There's always a lot goin' on in our neck of the woods on Father's Day weekends, which likely had something to do with the smallish crowd at the Down Home Saturday night. What was there, tho, was quality! ... just like the show we got to enjoy.
Webb was in fine form, Tom was rockin' the Hondo and that rattlesnake hat band, Bob was indendiary as usual, and Jimmy was Jimmy (we wouldn't have him any other way ... "hey Webb, why don't you mike your drummer?" "well, the FCC, mostly") ... and small crowd or not, if those guys weren't having a good time entertaining us, they sure fooled the rest of us!

It was good to see Susan and Tony and their friends, particularly good to see yardmaster there (he relies on me to pick out his annual beer), and thanks as always to the nice, accommodating folks at the Cleanest Nightclub In America.
And thanks, Beatnecks, for another fun show. There aren't too many better ways to while away a Saturday evening.
