A recent posting on WW's Facebook page talks about the song 'Ain't living long like this' and refers to a British Band called 'The Hamsters' They have now retired but their albums are available and are recommended. I first came across them at the Kent Custom Motorcycle show in the '80's' and over the next 20+ years they were one of the hardest working and consistent bands around. This link shows them playing at Fairport Conventions festival and shows them in good form.

(I hope it works outside the UK) On several occassions I requested this song and they would always do it. I heard the Hamsters version before I heard Webbs and enjoy them both. Known as That lil ol' and from Essex, they would deliver faultless covers of Hendrix and ZZ Top material as well as other Tasteful tunes. Originals and Covers.
I dont know if they are known in the states. If not 'Pick up on it'! if they are known to this audience I wont be surprised!
