Subject: Radio Special
Its a little known fact, but in the UK the radio programme that plays Webb Wilder more than any other is mine - I Went To The Crossroads - on BCB Radio - no not BBC - BCB. Sundays at 10:00 pm local time. There is a career spanning all Webb Wilder special on 24th March. You can listen live on the interweb or listen again/ download if you google it! International Webb Wilder Day anyone?

Cool! Like Dave Edmunds said,"...maybe I'll run into some famous names like Robert Johnson or Elmore James. Standin; at the Crossroads again!" Thanks! WW

That would be great. Those of us who are based in the UK must spread the word. I will. If the French can do it so can we!

A Time update here. They air this show at 10pm Greenwich Mean Time. They have not yet gone all Daylight Savings Time, so it will be live in the Eastern Time Zone at 6pm tonight, 5pm in the land of Music City. (normally there is 5 hours between England and NY, but not today)

All geared up here to listen 'live' via the wonders of the Intahwebb. (Well played 'It's Brilliant' for the time check.)

We can tell its spring here as the snow is warmer than last week!

A British Tour may be ambitous on the back of this alone but whats wrong with ambition? BCB is not the biggest station in the world but they may well be the most loved in Bradford!

The Hoodoo Witch and I'll raise a generous glass of English Whisky to my Stateside amigo's and remember good times at Webb Fest (Lucky) 7

Thank you Highway Tsar! Yeah, I can't imagine that Macca and Townshend will phone (excuse me ring up!) the Queen upon hearing this and make my return to Blighty(do Yanks get to call it that? if not, sorry!) a priority or anything but, nonetheless I REALLY appreciate it all! WW

Perfectly Acceptable to call it Blighty. Wherever you are rooted. We call it far worse sometimes even though we love it really. (BTW the Germans call us Brits 'Insel Affe' - "Island Monkeys" so its open season)
:-)

I just tried listening to the BCB show. Pretty great so far, but I got halfway through "Human Cannonball" and the feed stopped. I couldn't find any more of it. Is there any way to hear the last half of the show?

Subject: Radio Special - Don't Panic (and always carry a towel)
Hi, I am really sorry if you didn't get all the programme - typical - if something's going to go wrong, it's going to go wrong at the worst possible time.

I had a word at the radio station about the problem and there appears to have been a temporary fault with the streaming service that night. I have asked them to adjust this problem on the "play again" part of the web page. But just in case I am repeating the programme on 21 April, (I don't normally do repeats!) so people can listen to the whole thing properly. There's no reason why there should not be two or more International Webb Wilder days a year - seems to fit right in for the full grown people.

Feel free to listen to the programme again any time - its on every Sunday and lots of treats every week (normally there is no problem listening via the tinterwebb). In fact, as it would not be expected, there is another WW track this Sunday.

Google BCB Radio and the big G will take you there.

Just to remind you (even if if you don't need it) that the repeated International Webb Wilder Day BCB Special is on tonite and will be on the play again page from tomorrow in all its glory. We have now put the clocks forward in Monkey island, as those that are in power claim it is now summer time (against all the evidence to the contrary). So the time difference from 10 pm here is one hour more that it used to be. To find it all you need do is goooooogle BCB Radio.
.
Next week we explore the concept of the Full Grown Man, with example of FGM past and present. Plus Louisiana Hannah. Enjoy - my Sunday Evening Chums. ,
