The event was fantastic! A truly sporting occassion. The crowd cheered everyone. In one 3 hour session I saw 10+ world records set. (And numerous persnal best times) I'm not a big Track & Field fan so it was a new experience. You quickly forget that its a paralympic event and just enjoy elite athletes competing in a spirit of comradeship. If you want to see how your team is doing. Try This link.

(I cannot vouch for it as its not available to view this side of the pond.) Anyway i'll cheer on my own GB Guys and Gals! + I believe highlights are being shown on NBC every night.
Its not about sympathy, Just people striving to be the best. To give an idea of the approach being taken, On a TV show an anecdote was told of an Australian Gold medal Winner who was asked by a journalist if it had always been his dream to win a Paralympic Gold. He replied " Well not before I lost my ******** legs it wasn't!" every one laughed at the Journo's expense.
