Kudos to Chris Varias for a great review. I don't always agree with him and the acts he chooses to review, but this piece was, for the most part, spot on. And congrats to TPTB at the Cincinnati Blues festival for thinking outside the box by booking Webb. Hopefully Webb will return to Cincy soon and play in his natural habitat: a club where the crowd is primed to hear some of the very best live rock
and roll around--maybe when The Southgate House reopens later this year.

Dolly and I and 2 Tater Tots (Kiersten and Hayley) went to the Cincinnati Blues Festival on Friday, the 10th to see Webb, Tom, Bob and Rick Schell. Webb was the headliner on Friday night and did not fail to earn that position on the schedule. They followed Sista Monica who had a big set of Blues pipes and a great back -up band. Rick Schell fit right in Jimmy Lester's vacancy rather nicely. Here is the set list Webb gave to me:

I sold several tickets to Webb Fest VII while there and if you look closely at the pictures I am sending to Hunter, you'll see the cameraman was wearing a Doo Dad shirt he bought 20 years ago.
Its always great to see this band no matter how many times I've seen them before. These guys put their hearts into their music and travel many a weary mile to bring it to us.
