I've got to find out WTF? is going on in Nashville! Has everyone moved there and why are they killing themselves or dying? Be careful and mindful, this is just getting weird and crazy!

I was saddened to read this this a.m. on the BBC website while breakfasting. Bob wrote and sang "Hypnotized," the one Fleetwood Mac song I ever heard that I actually liked. As for music industry people moving to Nashville, it is called Music City for a reason. It's not untoward that musicians would move there to be connected for business reasons.

Who else in NashVegas has died recently?

Webbsters may be interested to read this article about the job prospects of being a Fleetwood Mac guitarist.

I had the pleasure of seeing them at Manchester Polytechnic UK in the late 60's just as a 15yr old Danny Kirwan had joined them. It was one of the best gigs I have ever witnessed. They played a beautiful instrumental track then said "that could be our next single" That tune was "Albatross"
I never knew I would end up working at that university and have been hrere since 1975. I still think about that fantastic gig whenever I go into to hall where it happened.

Nese, depending on how old you are, it could just be your/our heroes are passing on from planet E. I don't condone an early self-instigated exit, but Welch did have serious health problems. I have read friends writing they've had enough of it, especially in the past few years, but really, as rough as it may seem, death is part of life. And we do have their music. That lives on forever, as do our fond memories of them. R.I.P. Mr. Welch.
