Tony and I were wondering if you ever went through a Spandex pants phase.

That "ugh" was probably more of growl because I would actually ask such a question. My apologies.

Now come on folks, a man of Webbs musical integrity and genius should not be considered for such a question. So, instead I ask this: any chance that a new CD could be coming in the not so distant future???????????

I had to have jazz shoes--black ones. And I tried wearing my grandpa's tie with a polo shirt. I shouldn't say this stuff; I have to face many of you in a couple of weeks.

Well, by the time spandex pants might have been an option, I was "the last of the full grown men" although I do have some awful mixed metaphors in the fashion area going in photos from the '80s with my Resistol, cap toed shoes and gulp...mullet? I didn't think of it as a mullet and it was really long enough to be called one so, I fer to it as my Doo-ran Doo-ran hair phase. WW

I'm still picturing you looking like Ian Hunter on the cover of "Mott".

Are you sure there's not a photo like that lurking in the Webb archives?

Have to search. When I had hair, it was never the Ian Hunter curly mane but, there was a time when I had long hair. WW

Few shots of WW with hair on the Webb Wilder Live - Tough it Out, DVD - special features.... lots of pics. one in particular our dear friend Webb has a whole head and face full of hair.... naturally he's playing his guitar in the pic. I don't remember any spandex pants though ....

Check it out and pick up a copy of the DVD if you don't already own one.

There is a video of Webb from the late 80s (shot in Lyon France) that is floating around - live concert footage and back then he, Jimmy and Donny Roberts all had quite a mane of hair ... yes I said Jimmy...LOL - pretty awesome show too.
