Thanks to all who came including Tater, Dolly, Susan, Tony, Eric, Frank, Gary and the rest of ya! The only drag was finding out after the show that music legend, Cowboy Jack Clements' Nashville home/studio full of awards, photos, unreleased tapes of Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Louis Armstrong and others burned yesterday. The Cowboy and his loved ones are safe, though. They are in our thoughts and hearts. Hope to see some of ya in Chicago @ Fitzgeralds' on July 9th. Keep comin' and leep ROCKIN'! WW

For those unable to join us, you missed another enjoyable evening of Wilderian Awesomeness, as Webb, Tom, Bob and Jimmy were in fine form. And I don't know that I've ever seen young Mr. Lester laugh so much!

"Whip that boy and you'll answer to me!" | Thanks to you Webb -- and the pleasure was all ours ... had a blast - great couple of sets. I brought me friends Rob and Tracy again for their 2nd straight WW DH show.... they loved it. Rob brought his dad and step-mom and I think we made 2 more converts. Dorothy mentioned more then once how impressed she was with all the guys --- especially that Drummer. Wow - who wouldn't be Jimmy really put on a show -- and that was when he was playing and even when he wasn't....LOL
All the band seemed to be having as good a time as we the fans were having... Good to see Bob Williams back spankin' the plank, he was right on target and sounding great. Tom with the fuzz box bass he kept working in was cool.... when we talked about it later Tom commented well when you're among friends you just tend to have more fun. Couldn't agree more. Webb of course was his classic self and in great form singing and of course tearing up those Teles - You the Man !! Good to see everyone that was there.... looking forward to the next one !!!

You are what you is! | I even enjoyed the short improvised "21st Century Schizoid Man". It's not often you can find a group that ever heard of that record, let alone knowing some of the words to it. I was one of the fortunate few who saw King Crimson. I have some photos from Saturday night I'll send to Hunter. Thanks for a great show guys! Neil and Mary, Gary Brill and Dolly and I even had a good time being rained on for over a 100 miles on the ride home Sunday!

Several rarely-performed tunes in there. I've always wanted to hear Carryin' the News to Mary live. That's a spooky song.

"Whip that boy and you'll answer to me!" | Carryin the News is a great one to hear live .... prior to playing it Webb intoduced it by talking about cowboy tunes and mentioned one that I don't think very many of us knew - and then he commenced to sing parts of this said cowboy song... which led to I think one of the laughing fits by Jimmy. Either way - that is one rockin' "Cowboy" tune and only with the great Tom Comet can you get Fuzz Box bass during a cowboy tune.... Loved It !!!!

Hope it stays in the rotation long enough to hear it! Mike

In fact, I will request it. That's assuming we can make it to Bowling Green this year...missing last year was a big bummer. I hope our Heroic Webmaster is able to attend this time!

I've been self-employed since April 2010 and so, when I've got a contract engagement, I gotta give that 100% and can't be away. My potential attendance of WW5 was, in part, a victim of that unfortunate fact.
