I saw and loved Webb at the Forum in London supporting the Georgia Satellites back in 1990. Over the last year or so I have rediscovered Webb's music and am catching up on the CD's, and so was wondering is there any possibility of Webb playing in the UK again in the not too distant future?

In the cold light of day I did ruefully realise that it is something that would surely be difficult for you to make it work from a financial perspective at least, but I will keep my fingers that somewhere along the way the right set of circumstances will make it a possibility.

Still it was worth asking as I would hate to repeat a recent experience whereby I had reignited my passion for Jason & The Scorchers, having not paid them much attention for 10+ years.

There I was loving their new album, when I decided to check out their site to see if they would be playing here at some point - only to discover they had played a tiny intimate venue in a neighbouring town about 3 days earlier! That was a sore one, I can tell you!

Thanks, Jimbo! I remember that gig pretty well. GREAT crowd! Great, old, barny place with neon outside. Thought we really went down well. We were on Island at the time and the head man from Island UK was there. I figured after he saw the fantastic, extroverted response from the audience at the Barrowlands that he would turn into a huge supporter at the label. Found out later he WAS except by the time we played that show his plans were already in motion to leave the company! Great night, though. WW
