It's the principal acoustic instrument you hear on the track:intro, etc. It's a Delvecchio resonator mandocello. They are made in Brazil. The resonator guitars they made were favored by Chet Atkins and others but, were famous for often having to be worked over quite a bit to play in tune and perform up to professional standards. The reward is the great tone/sound. WW

How many strings and what tuning?

He informed me that it is NOT a mandocello! It's a MANDOLA. Well, there's a mistake in the liner notes. Nonetheless, it is all the other things I said and appears on "Romantic." A mandocello is a much larger instrument. WW
