I haven't seen any posting for summertime Down Home dates. I really enjoy coming to those 2-day shows in Johnson City. Will there be a summer pilgrimmage this year?

Martha and I made it to the DH one year- well worth the anticipation! A spectacular drive in the mountains, super bbq, fresh peaches for our hike on the App Trail, TWO nights of WW- the purrfect mini-vacation.

and I bet you done noticed like I done, Tater, that WW's summer schedule was a fillin' up

and Tater ain't exactly close to the DH, omatic ... he just keeps showin' up ... not much us locals can do to stop him

Like it says on the Press Kit link here, if Webb is playing within 300 miles of our town, we are usually there. As it happens, Johnson City is just down the road a mere 260 miles! That makes for a beautiful motorcycle ride in the summer. Asheville is only 330, Cleveland only 200, Louisville only 204, Nashville only 400, St. Louis about the same as Nashville, Chattanooga only 340 and Knoxville only about 300. I guess that pretty much makes Beaver, Ohio the center of the known universe!

Tater, have you seen the TV commercial for the new Schick Quattro Trimstyle? It's a grooming tool fer women. Every time I see the ad it makes me think of Beaver, Ohio...

Jarvis 8ch Lloyd used to tell me that he was familiar with southern Ohio and he was pretty sure that Beaver was just North of a place called Taint. I have no idea what he meant but I'll bet Flodine has an idea.

I was kinda crossing my fingers that WW might be closer to home in the Nashvegas area on the Weekend of Aug 14 -15.... as I won't be home in JC, TN area but near Nashville that weekend .... sure would hate to miss 'em by being in the wrong end of the state.... how about a T&L show on the 15th and then DH the next weekend.... give me back to back weekend shows.
