One of my favorite Webb shows I've ever been to was a kickin' set at the Coffee Pot in Roanoke. Any chance of returning to that venue? If not, there's a small chain of seafood places in the Roanoke/New River Valley area called Awful Arthur's, and most of them have a stage for live music. Is this something that you'd be interested in, Webb?

yes -- PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE come back! I'll take either venue -- though I love the food at Awful Arthurs much better. ;-) My first WW show was at the Pot, so I hold it near and dear as well. Alex, the one at Towers has a very large dance floor which would be a nice change to some of the other shows for those inclined to move it...

Roanoke also has a couple of bluesy type clubs downtown...not my fave area but if it will get my band here -- I'll be all over it.

In addition, every summer we have Festival in the Park where lots of bands play, it's outside and just a really good time.

Sounds like Y'all are on to it already ... get 'em booked - I'm not against a ride up I-81.... done it before - saw a show at the Coffee Pot with my dear friend - the late great "Snake". I'd be willing to make the road trip in his honor if nothing else...

Yep, I've been to the Pot, too, with my son (above) and Garland, hooking up with our pal Snake (this would've been spring '06, I believe) ... that was indeed a fun night.
