Subject: Board Trouble
Hey Omatic, I'm reporting! I was trying the other day, to post on the Fitzgeralds topic, and couldn't pull it off- figured it was just me. Gave up.

But in reality, I can log in, and then get the "success" message, but whenever I try to edit my profile or post, I am told I'm either not logged in (wrong) or I'm not a member.

Want to check it out for me?

Thanks Buddy. I'm gone for the day, but I'll be back tomorrow.

Hmmm, that's odd. Are you on a different computer than usual? Using a new browser? Updated your browser, or changed its settings? It kind of sounds like it isn't retaining your browser cookies properly.

The other thing I would suggest is using the self-service password change page to reset your password... but of course, that'll only help if you are entering the wrong password accidentally.

By the way, is there some reason you posted this, rather than using the Contact Form? I'll leave it up for informational purposes, anyway, but I'm curious.

Here's an update for y'all. I've been hearing stories that our host company is fiddling with a few things and causing problems today. Some of that may be cookie related, although the evidence is anecdotal. If this is a root cause, there is little or nothing I can do to help it, but it should get cleared up when they fix anything they've broken.

I've been playing around since this was reported, but have been unable to reproduce the issues shown here. Time to cast a wider net. Anybody else having similar difficulties?

Omatic, thanks for all the thoughts and suggestions. It definitely is my computer though, because I'm on a different one, and all is well. Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the technologically illiterate.Your patience is noted.
