You know you're a sucker for punishment when you're still up writing code at 5:18am.

Whoopty = "yippee" and a hoopty is a junker car (synonym for jalopy). FTW = "for the win."

Basically, the whole post is meaningless. :-)

My ol' pal Clarence had a "FTW" tattoo.
It did NOT mean "for the win"!!!
More of an expression of distain for this mortal coil, as it were.

Well, if Jitney Jungle (Mississippi grocery store chain) can be used as a yardstick for spelling, that would be with a "J." 'Course, Chuck Berry, THE poet laureate of Rock and Roll, uses the word in his fantabulous musical composition,"You Can't Catch Me," in reference to the motorized conveyance "Ol' Flat Top" is "moter'vatin'" 'longside the protagonist in. Other definitions for FTW .. yep I hadda look 'em up...

"Forever two wheels," a common slogan for bikers,
"F the war," chanted by protesters since war was invented,
"F the world," as viewed by (and on) Clarence, apparently,
"Free the whales," an idea undoubtedly popular with whales, and
"Fun to watch"

Personally I prefer and use FTW strictly as "For the Win," as I am both internet-meme prone, as well as possessing a mostly G-rated vocabulary.

Gitney/Jitney, though, that's a new one to me. Who comes up with this stuff?
