Subject: Phoenix Hill Tavern show
Is anyone else going to the Phoenix Hill Tavern show in Louisville on Saturday? I plan to be there. My first Webb show since February, and I'm looking forward to it. I do have to say, though, that I've been spoiled by the 7:30 PM shows at 3rd & Lindsley, and hope I can stay awake for this one. ;-)

Great, Hunter! Isn't this one supposed to be early, though? * or so? Hope to see you there. WW

It's supposed to start at 8, but the website lists two other bands that are performing. Well, it used to. Now it says "Special guests:", but doesn't list any names. I was assuming they'd play before you, but maybe they're not playing now? That would suit me fine. ;-)

I'll try to call them tomorrow and see if I can find out what the deal is....

Looking forward to the show, Webb!

Hi Hunter - I was fooled by this too. There are multiple rooms at this club, and those other bands are doing a show at another stage. There is supposed to be an opener for Webb though, and they start at 8pm. Still early, the entire night is over at 11pm. Enjoy the show!

Thanks for the clarification, Nancy! Over by 11 works for me! 8-)

I should say that I'd love to have a really long show by Webb, but I've pretty much lost my tolerance for most opening acts....

Dolly and I are coming to the show also. Now we'll have the added treat of meeting Hunter as well as hanging out with Mike and Dori!

Good deal! I look forward to meeting you and Dolly (and Mike and Dori). You've seen my pictures, and I've seen yours, so surely we'll see each other....

Did anybody happen to record the radio bit? If so, please email me at goathunter@goatley.com

I was on the road at the time and didn't get to hear it.

And you were right, Nancy (naturally)---one (forgettable and too-loud) opening act (Seedus), then Webb, all over by 11. With the timezone change, I was back home by 12:40, despite the two-hour drive.
