what have been some of your pets names---and is it true a dog's mouth is cleaner than a human's?

Just what is it you have planned for our canine friends?

I've heard that about the mouths but, can't claim to know. I havehad a buncha different pets at one time or another. When I was a kid I had a Siamese tomcat named Dusty Daniel Thomas Cat, aka DDT...C. Had a cat named Smokehouse. Used to have a neighbor with a horse named Hacksaw. I asked him why he named his horse Hacksaw. He said,"I always wanted a horse named Hacksaw." Good enough! WW

So, would you consider yourself a cat person? I was always a cat person until I got hooked up with a bloodhound. Now I am still a cat person, but yeah, I have my second bloodhound and I am hooked.
So now I have a gray tabby, 10yrs old named Buddy. A chocolate lab mix female named Izzy. She's a healthy one. A rat terrier named Little Bit. Spent $300 on dental work on him. He'll live a few more years. A three legged cat named "kitty" that got run over by a van right in front of us. She's black with a white spot on her tummy. Yellow eyes. Pretty cool.

And Mary Jane. My bloodhound puppy. I am such a sap for animals. I feed the birds, all kinds. MaryJane is my special friend.
She is so cool. She just wants to be with me. She wants to be with my daughters. She is so much a part of our family. She is not a barker but she watches out for us. So special. Really mellow.

Currently I have a cat named Molly - she's mainly black, but has patches of blond & gold, and a dog named Brooke who is of undetermined breeding (we think retriever & spaniel or lab) and is completely black. Both are pretty calm animals and seem to love everyone. Brooke would turn down food for a little petting.

I really like animals but, seem to have become more allergic to cats in recent years so I am not as inclined to pet them and stuff but, I have always like dogs, cats and horses. Cat person? Maybe. Dogs are really somethin' else, though. WW
