Subject: Columbus Ohio-"The Thirsty Ear" Gig
The Thirsty Ear in Columbus, Ohio got a big loud drink of Webb Wilder and the Beatnecks last Thursday night. The place was packed to see Webb and a lot of folks had not had a Webb fix since the 1990's. The crowd loved the music and the band. Here is the set list from Friday Night. I believe they played the same songs on both nights (and I did not think to ask for a set list on Thursday.) So, here is a set list that will apply to both shows:
1. Poolside
2. Human Cannonball
3. Sputnik
4. Down on the Farm
5. One tatse of the Bait
6.How Long Can She last
7.You May Be Lonely for a Reason
8.Pretty Little Lights of Town
9. Come Around
10. TCB Yodel # 9
11. No Great Shakes
12. King of the Hill
13. Worried Life Blues
14. Pretty Is
15. Louisiana Hanna
Break
16. Big Time
17. Battle of the Bands
18. Little Boy Sad
19.Horror Hay Ride
20. The Rest Will Take Care of Itself
21. Had to Laugh
22. Burnin'
23. Rocket to Nowhere
24. I'm a Lover Not a Fighter
25. Slow Death
26. Round and Round
27. It Takes Time
28. Flat Out Get It.
29. Tough it Out.

Baby Please Don't Go

It was a good night for Wilder Fans. Webb knew one audience member from a band the fellow used to have in Mississippi from a long time ago (Bob something) and he asked the fellow to sit in for one song. I am sending Hunter some photos and he is in one of them.
Dolly and I got home at 2:15AM and had to go to work the next morning. I may be getting too old to do this. I had to have a long nap after work on Friday before heading to Huntington.

Thanks, Tater! For everything, I might add! Same goes to Dolly and Miss Missy. Tthe sets were NOT the same for both nights. What you have here is as it was written before the show in Columbus. I think the first set was pretty much as you have it but, we did not do "'Round & 'Round." We asked Bobby Sutliff to come up and sit itn and he wanted to do "Let It Rock" instead, so we did. The rest of it may or may not have been the same. The second set was much shorter in Huntington due to the late hour and slim crowd but, the sets werte somewhat different anyway. Get some rest! Ya'll need it! You ARE the champs, though! WW
