My first time to the " House of Blues", I had a very good time, thanks "Beatnecks". Hope you guys play there again many times.
The place has quite a decor to it, but the sound was set up nice.
Being down town, it was my first real feel of Chicago night life.
One guy stopped me on the street and said he was going to be completely honest,
he said " I am doing research on Jack Daniels, would you care to make a donation to research?"
His approach made me smile so I gave him 5, and told him "for it to be research, he had to document his thoughts and feelings while experimenting with the stuff."
Yeah, I was an easy mark, not the first time for that, and surely not the last.
But 5 bucks, I'd say he went easy on me......lol. Have been had a whole lot more than that, but thats a different story.
As for WW @ House Of Blues, Hope you all had as good a time as I did.

How was the crowd? A good size????

Very good, they all seemed to enjoy the band, and saw several that I saw at Fitzgeralds early this year.
Didn't seem as crowded, but just guessing, I'd say it was at least twice the space. They play there again, I am sure there will be people come back just from seeing them this time around.

What a treat! Webb rocked the House!

A friend who works for Live Nation took us to see Alter Bridge and it turns out one of my favorite artists...EVER...was also playing! I couldn't have gotten a better surprise.

Great to meet you Webb! You were the icing on my 'weekend in Chicago' cake!

We now return to regularly scheduled programming.

Aaaauuugh. It's been a while since I've checked in on webbwilder.com. I can't believe I missed them at HOB! A well, it's my own fault I guess. That would be such a fun place to see them. Please play there again guys.
