Subject: Describe Webb's Albums
Just for fun, describe what feelings Webb's albums remind you of. Here are mine:

1. It Came From Nashville: A good ol'fashioned night on the town.

2. Hybrid Vigor: Dad gives you, "The Talk".

3. Doo Dad: The one your mother warned you about.

4. Town & Country: Road Trip, natch.

5. Acres Of Suede: An old friend stops by for a visit.

6. About Time: A tall glass of cold lemonade on a hot day.

7. Scattered, Smothered and Covered: reliving great memories with the family photo album.

So let's hear some of yours everyone?

"It Came From Nashville"--- was like driving around a sleepy but mystic small town with your best friend and having a whale of a good time. This record knocks the dust off of life. It has become my favorite old girlfriend.

Well Im no similist, but Suede reminds me of groupsaxonacid. That or some good BBQ with Calhouns sauce on it. About Time-singing in the church choir. Will have to do some thinking about the rest and report back.

Doo-Dad--- is like rescuing Tatum O'neil from rehab and taking her to Daytona Beach to get tatoos and tenderness. I love making her laugh... not even the rain has such small hands.

ICFN: the small town I work in....getting my haircut (by the lady mayor), just down the street from the tavern where I imagine an afternoon cardgame turns dangerous when the Devils Right Hand steps in, and later that evening- WAY later, Ruby shows up for alittle R&R. Yeah

DooDad: What waz that got slipped in my beer!

Acres of Suede: Southern Comforte, with twist of cayenne

Hybrid Vigor: yes, it IS possible

About Time: A good one got away, but I'm still havin' fun

Rock and Roll. No question mark needed there Webb.

ICFN Reminds me of a 100 mph, 100 db trip down that highway that runs from Selmer TN to Tupelo, that has been under construction since 1949, drinkin Falstaff and singing along to Burnin, really loud and off off key with a girl .Come to think of it, she had small hands too.

Nope, Falstaff is gone. This is as close as you can get, the Falstaff "shield" label originally came from Lemp: http://lemplager.com/lemp/default.asp

That stuff (Falstaff) was the 4th nastiest beer ever made. (Thus the 100mph and off key singing). One guy told me he drank a case one time and saw the devil. I never had the courage................

Don't know any stories about that song, really. It's another good Bobby Frild song from way back there. We haven't played it in years but, you never know when it might come back around. Thanks. WW
