Glad to see we don't have ice, snow or a plague of locusts to prevent this evening's show! Since it's been almost a year since the last concert events I attended [admittedly 5 nights of Moogfest last year] and I couldn't swing Robyn Hitchcock on the 15th since I was arriving back in town that night after a long drive. Ticket duly purchased and ready to rock - rock - rock...at my earliest convenience!

That was a sweet show last night, throat issues notwithstanding. I'd not seen a solo show before and it was very satisfying. Your material can work well either way. I was 'gobsmacked' to see that Joe Sasfy now lives in Asheville! The holy scribe of the liner notes to The Cramps' "Gravest Hits" standing right in front of me! And he really is a Doctor of Rockology now in my home town! I'd love to take his course, but it's only for retirees with morning classes, dang it. I don't foresee the luxury of retirement even though I followed all of the rules; they changed the gameboard. I should still hook up with him. I might be able to help his coursework when he gets to New Wave in a few years!
