Subject: Webb in Europe...Ireland calling!
Hey Webb Wilder fans, greetings from Ireland. I have been listening to Webb's music, working hard and wearing my glasses ever since my brother and I had the pleasure of seeing him rock the Town and Country Club in London as support to the Georgia Satellites. What a gig and Webb was really, really special. Hybrid Vigor was purchased and the journey began. I don't check in as often as perhaps I should but I have lots of albums and I spin em regularly. After wasting thousands of bucks first on tapes, then on CDs...I realise it shoulda been vinyl from the beginning. I am wondering if anyone has tips on where to source vinyl copies of Webb's many gems. I have Hybrid Vigor but not the rest. Some day I hope to go on a pilgrimage to the US of A and take in two shows - old Bob Walkenhorst of the Rainmakers and Webb also. Might even check out if the Jason Ringenberg has his singing boots at the ready.. God bless to all. Robert Love, Donegal, Ireland

Robbie-
Howdy to you in Ireland!
Webb's first album, It Came From Nashville, was issued on vinyl but they are rare. Some guy in the UK has one for sale for a price that's not totally insane:

Only ICFN and Hybrid Vigor ever came out on vinyl (to my knowledge) so you're going to have to listen to those CDs!

Hi Robbie,
I've learnt something following your post. That only icfn and hv are on Vinyl. I'm lucky enough to have them both. (Sorry, not for sale)
I too saw Webb supporting Georgia satellites. What an influential night that turned out be.

Check out Rev Peytons big damb band in Belfast on June 21st.

Hi, robbie. Thanks for all the support and kind words. The first two albums are the only ones that ever came out on vinyl but, New West has made some noise from time to time about issuing "Town and Country" and "Acres of Suede" on vinyl. Maybe they will do that some day. We are working on a new one now which I hope will have a vinyl version. One day I hope to see a double LP of the remastered and expanded "Full Grown Edition" of "ICFN" but, have no real idea if that will ever happen although I am advocating it. Thanks again! WW
