	Very cool rare clip. I particularly liked "pickguard-cam". Any info on just what the sound mix consisted of? I missed seeing Jimmy and Cletus. Did they not make the trip to Australia?

Hunter Member Since: February 2005 Listen! Do you smell something? Listen! Do you smell something?	No, Jimmy and Cletus didn't make it. Webb posted on FB that it was a whirlwind promotional tour. Webb said he thought this was a lip-synced performance (borne out by the lack of cables for Webb's guitar and the bass), but I'm not sure what mix of "Human Cannonball" was used. It's clearly not the album mix, and it's not quite the "Gunpowder Mix" from the promo CD (though it's close). It almost sounds like the vocals might have been live? Hunter

The whole whirlwind that was our time on Island Records was really something. They did a buncha different mixes for TV, some with vocals, some without. Then there were different edits. We would show up for these things, start lip synching and go..."Whoops!" Things would sorta blind side us because the "arrangement" wouldn't be like the record. I sort of like this version. There is the little stop with with the kick drum still going on the "human cannonball-all, ya'll" thing that surprised me. Seems like there;'s something different right toward the end, too. WW

	That "little stop with the kick drum still going" is a cool touch, indeed. Did the studio just happen to recently get that mini-cam and were looking for something to do with it when they thought of attaching it to Donnie's guitar?

Webb Wilder Member Since: July 2003	Yeah, I wondered itf that was their latest toy. Looks like it flopped under the Twangler's usage and seems kinda dumb now. Even when those things work, the stuff they capture looks hokey... to me at least. The vocal may have been live. I would have to check it out again. We had those kind of tracks for TV, too. WW
