Subject: Down Home Johnson City, TN Sat. Jan. 11 and new T-shirts!

Okay, what's 2014 minus 1986? That's how many years we've been playing the Down Home. Up until a coupla years ago we did two full weekends a year there which would be eight sets a year! Now we do two Saturdays (so far) a year there which makes four sets a year. Looking forward to this one. We will have a new twist on an old favorite in the T-shirt department making it's debut at that show. The winter shows there have always been the most special ones. Please come. Gon' be fun. Wish I could make it to the Down Home- Martha and I showed up there one year and it was a Blast. Maybe catch up with you at Fitzgeralds in February, but too soon to tell. Caught up in some pretty serious winter weather here today, like so much of the country, so road-tripping feels more like a day dream....

It's -16F here today. That's also expected to be our HIGH temp. When I left this morning, my boiler was not keeping up (hot water baseboard heat)... the temp in the house is slooowly dropppppiiiiiing...
