As he was singing, I turned to my wife and mentioned that Webb would do a great job with the song, "Mr. Cellophane" from the movie "Chicago".

By the way I got a tattoo of you a month ago as a tribute to the swampadelic rock god that you are but don't know how to post a photo of it here to show you & my fellow Webb fans

It's been long enough since 2009's "More Like Me" release & as much as I love "Scattered, Smothered and Covered" & "Born To Be Wilder", both were essentially re-packaging older material and/or "live" versions of the same.
"Yard Dog" & "Lucy Mae Blues" only "whet the whistle" & leave me craving more!!! WE NEED MORE NEW STUFF!!!

It's a very unique and highly enjoyable piece of work. For the record, I own a vinyl copy of "It Came From Nashville" (by Webb Wilder & The Beatnecks) on the (independent) Racket Records label - that's how long I've been into WW. In fact, I live in the D.C. "metro" area & used to see WW at the old 9:30 club where I would lean against the stage, standing directly below "the Twangler" & get sweated on...loved every minute of it!
I also have the "Roots Rock Action Figures" effort - you can't say I'm not a "junkie"...LOL

Field will work with Webb again, or put together a band of his own, but he's certainly not living in a Dumpster like someone told me a couple of years ago! Here's one of his current production efforts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDz9mCmvxZk
