How was the rest of your U.S. trip following WebbFest? What other places did you visit? Any particularly cool adventures?

The trip was a roaring success. We did around 1700 miles in the Mustang and only had the roof up on 2 days. (The benefits of your relatively cheap petrol (gasoline) were not lost to us although I know many of you regard it as a bit pricey) We visited with the Bodines (Inc the mighty Jethro) to try and iron out a few problems with our command of the American Language, before heading South to see our Leader, with a couple of the extended Bodine Clan, at the Shed, Maryville. (Great Show/Venue/hospitality) We drove Route 23 all the way there and the Autumnal (Fall) Colours really impressed. We drove the Tail of the Dragon both ways. Tearfully we parted from the Bodines, who could not have done more to show us the BEST time, and headed to see Dwight Yoakam in Atlanta. (Sorry we missed the chance to meet up Nancy)
Dwight was great and the Buckhead Theatre was very, very nice. After Atlanta we spent a couple of chillin' Days in Chattanooga and visted Rock City, what a view! 7 States at once. For me the natural splendour did not need the 'fairy grotto' element but each to thier own. After Chattanooga we travelled back to Nashville, via Bridgeport Alabama and Lynchburg (JD distillary) Our last night was in Opryland, Music City Drive, Nashville where we just chilled again, away from Broadway, Hotels were cheaper too! Unless you try the Gaylord which although huge, did not attract. Felt like a Cruise Ship to me!
On 18/10 (Sorry 10/18 :-)) I sadly handed back the keys to the Mustang at Nashville Airport.
We've had a blast and thanks to everyone we met for making us feel at home. we'd love to do it again, All I need is time and money........

Dolly and I (and Jethro) enjoyed the visit with the Tsars. We taught them the finer points of American Marksmanship (Sue is a deadeye shot with a .357 magnum) and we attempted to re-teach them the American language. We hope you can come back next year and do it all over again. Now everyone you meet back home will know that Beaver, OH is the Cultural Center of the USA.

It was my understanding that one could discharge a .357 Magnum firearm anywhere in the Beaver environs without any danger whatsoever of hitting anything remotely related to "culture".

Well, I don't know if that's true or not but one time a tornado came ripping through downtown Beaver and managed to do $250,000.00 worth of improvements.
