Subject: Great Show at the Shell Last Night
Webb, Tom and the band were in great form last night in Memphis, and a big thanks for coming out to Memphis. We all had a great time.

Here's a photo of Webb and the band at the Shell. Looks like a cool venue!

Yep, it's a great place to see a show. Very intimate and great sound. They are going to have a show with Mavis Staples, Jim Lauderdale, Buddy Miller and Patty Griffin in October...definitely a must see show. By the way, the last time I saw Webb live was back in the early 90s out in Southern California just after Hoodad came out. Like fine wine, the man and his music get better with age. Rock on!

The picture reminds me of that time in junior English when I had to memorize and recite "The Chambered Nautilus."

My whole life reminds me of the poem that goes like,"Somebody said that it couldn't be done
but, he with a chuckle replied
that maybe it couldn't but, he would be one
who wouldn't say so til he tried
so, he buckled right in with a ...." then my mind goes blank and so has gone my life! I buckled right in but, the outcome remains to be seen!

If we are not buckled in for this ride we call life, what a dull existence we lead.
