Subject: Song Request for Memphis Show in September
Hi Webb, would it be possible to request a song for your show in Memphis on September 9th? One of my all time favorites is "Cold Front" and I'd love to hear it live. About five or six years ago I requested it on this same board for a show in Memphis and you kindly granted my request, but I came down with the flu and was unable to attend the show (much to the chagrin of family and friends who were planning on coming with me). Come hell or high water, I'm at the Levitt Shell Park show in Memphis in September!

Glenn Zimmerman, the morning weatherman on KTVI here in St. Louis, continues to play that song every couple of months as his "Song of the Day". When there's a cold front movin' in, of course. Always fun to wake up and hear Webb on the TV, starts the day with a smile.

BTW, folks in Nashville have developed a strong aversion to high water. They don't seem to worry very much about Hell, but that high water is a real bee-yutch.

Helen Highwater?

Didn't she sing backup for Aretha Franklin?
