Webb, Tom, Bob and Greg Morrow played 2 dates in southern Ohio this past weekend. On Friday, they played right on the banks of the Ohio river in lovely and historic Pomeroy, OH. It was a nice crowd that filled up the amphitheater by the water. It was the final Friday performance of the blues festival held in Pomeroy each summer.
On Saturday they traveled a North and East to Chillicothe, OH and played in a venue that was once a First National Bank, then a restaurant and now a concert Hall. Crossroad Station opened the show followed by a soloist named Brian Dollison. Webb and the Beatnecks began playing around 9PM and this is a copy of the set list:
1. Big Time
2. One Taste of the Bait
3. Wild Honey
4. Poolside
5. Lookin' for a fool
6. Come around
7. Devil's right hand
8. More like me
9. Meet your new Landlord
10. Hittin' where it hurts
11. Honky Tonkin' in Mississippi
12. Human Cannonball
13. Worried life blues
14. Rough Rider
15. It takes time
16. The Rest
17. I'm a lover not a fighter
18. Luther played the Boogie Woogie
19.Tough It out
Encore: Jumpin' Jack Flash
This list may not be completely accurate. Webb does tend to alter the list as the mood dictates. But the crowd loved it and will want these boys back in Chillicothe again soon. It was a pleasure to get to meet Greg Morrow. He is a prince of a man and a helluva drummer.
