A sad loss. One of my favourite songs is 'working in a parking lot'

He also did a very good version of Baby Please Don't Go. You can hear it in the movie "Wild at Heart" with Nicholas Cage.

One of the greats. Go watch Nottingham 1991 live Youtube, you'll be floored. Saw Ten Years After live in early 70s, Ten Years Later live in late 70s, Alvin Lee solo early/mid 80s. All 3 times excellent performance.

My first band, The Power of Steam (or had we changed our name to The Tarjaw Goose Band by then? Nomatter) played "Love Like A Man" and "Workin' On the Road" by 10 Years After. WW

2 great songs Webb. First band for me, Every One Of Us, around '69-'70, we did Bad Scene... after I saw them on Music Scene, hosted by David Steinberg, around that time. Didn't even attempt to do Goin Home. That was before my fingers got their racing slicks. Fun times back then.

Ah, me too. My first band , Traino Thought, played "Goin Home" and saw Alvin Lee as a great shredder. It wasn't until years later that I realized that his true brilliance was in his subtleties.
