Dave, this has come up before.
Webb would love to come visit the Pacific NW, but it would need to be part of a tour in that direction. Major logistical and monetary obstacles exist, and with the current economic challenges facing musicians it's hard to go places where you might not sell enough tickets to make any money at all.

Try to keep an eye on the Tour Dates page in case anything takes Webb out that way...I think the farthest West he gets these days is Lincoln, Nebraska.
Hope this helps.
P.S. Maybe you could make a pilgrimage to Bowling Green, KY for WebbFest in October. We always have a great time there.

I clouded the subject with such a dense thunderhead of verbiage that even Webb awoke to find his basement flooded.

No offense intended!
Truth be told, I was thinking of a cool song by Deano Waco and the Purveyors. It's called Vacant Lot:

The rising tide
is lifting
all the yachts
It pours
into my basement
from the vacant lot

It's from a "virtual CD" that can be downloaded FREE from their website here: http://deanowaco.com/fr_home.cfm
Several really good songs to be found there.

I think Webb not traveling to Oregon keeps me from moving to Portland. I'd ONLY see the band once a year, that's just not enough!!!
