included in Fitzgeralds' annual multi-day, musical event in Berwyn, IL this Saturday!

Show time for WW & the Beatnecks is 6:30 PM, but in the course of the day/night, Kevin Gordon, Paul Cebar, Brave Combo, Joe Pug, Kenny Neal, Randall Bramblett, Jon Dee Graham & MORE will perform!

Jimmy Lester, Bob Williams & Tom Comet will be joining Webb with plenty of Rock & Roll & CDs, DVDs, T-shirts, etc. on hand. Fitzgeralds' is one of the great joints in the world today. Looking forward to seeing as many Chicago fans as well as fans from any and everywhere.

The temp was brutally hot yesterday in Chicago, but the sun was shining, and Fitzgerlds' absolutely know what they're doing when they have their American Music Festival, since this is their 32nd year puttin' it on, and they have perfected blending hot Midwest weather with Hot Live Music, and Saturday was flawless from a fan's perspective. I didn't get to hear all the bands that played, but every band I saw perform put a stellar effort into the music, and were having just as much fun as we fans were. And between the clubhouse, tent, and the sidebar, live music was non-stop with 12-15 performances with overlapping time slots from 1pm to ??? Kevin Gordon put on a killer performance in the clubhouse. I have seen him many times, but the energy from the stage yesterday was unbelievable. He just gets better and better every time I see him. At which point Webb's agent, Nancy, showed up for her first visit to Fitzgeralds, loving it too. Right after Kevin left the stage, the Randall Bramblett band set up for an amazing performance. I was having a great time listening to them, but they were the band overlapping Webb's performance in the tent, so I missed a couple of their songs, to go "sit at the feet of the Master" as Martha used to say. Dragging along with me a couple of new friends, Jim and Wincie, who loved these three bands also. Jim was well versed in Kevin's music, and it was great to see him enjoy Webb so much too, though he'd never heard him before. Webb, I loved your song selections, you sounded so good, and you and the Beatnecks were impressin' the hell outta everybody. Thanks to all of you for such a great performance! Also, great to see Amy along with Tom on the trip to Chicago, and though some fans I'd hoped to see weren't there, Mary and her husband were, and also Jen. It was a great day.

Great report Linda, thanks for posting it! Also very cool that Amy and Nancy were able to be there! Fitzgeralds is a great place to see Webb and we have been very fortunate to see the band there many times over the years. Every WW fan should make the pilgrimage to Fitzgeralds at some point!
