Subject: R.I.P. Larry "Rhino" Reinhardt
The former guitarist for Captain Beyond and Iron Butterfly passed away Monday. I had contacted Larry last year about some biz, and he seemed in good spirits, and as always excited about playing, recording, and writing songs. He was diagnosed with cancer around '03 and given a few months to live, but was still around 7 years later when the doctors pronounced it in remission. He performed up until late '11 until falling ill again. As is the case with many cancers, it apparently came back. An excellent guitarist and a great guy who will be missed by many. a fantastic guitarist..one of the best of the early heavy bande. sufficiently breathless is a great song. Rhino will be missed but not forgotten
