Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to Webb, the 'Necks and all you fine folks across the USA and around the globe! This will be a strange and low-key holiday season around here. My Wonderful Wife was having trouble with her right hip (both hips had to be replaced a few years ago) and it turned out that she had been walking around with a loose implant for some time. She had two major operations, spent a week in the hospital, and is now in a rehab center for two to six weeks. That will be followed by another six to eight weeks of home rehab. We hope to get her home ASAP but she's pretty immobile, strapped in a big brace that goes around her torso and right thigh. This requires a walker so big it won't fit through some of our doors, and she has no way to get in or out of the house unless we build a long, long ramp. We have "de-emphasized" Christmas this year but we have high hopes for a great 2012.

Love the Charlie Russell poem. Oh, Pammy Lee! So glad you got it turned around but, sounds like it's been Hell and not a lot better now BUT, it will be!
