It certainly looks like Webb is rubbing shoulders with some influential folks. Maybe the age of Wilder is dawning upon us!

Nice article. There's a lot of rich tradition in the Shoals with FAME Studios and Muscle Shoals Sound Studios. It had a diverse mix of artists, spanning the spectrum from Alice in Chains to Boz Scaggs and to J.J. Cale. I always get fired up when I hear Lynyrd Skynynd's "Sweet Home Alabama," and the line that says, "Muscle Shoals has got The Swampers, and they've been known to pick a song or two." Of course the Swampers were formally known as The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section. Legend has it that it was Leon Russell that coined the name Swampers.

That's a REALLY good article. I agree with the writer on his definition of Americana. It's's not a genre. It's a term used to describe a lot of stuff that has a kinship based it's origins in some American roots form or interpretation thereof. Thanks, Hunter! WW

Bored? Not likely! Please keep us posted, Linda...honestly, I thought the car would be a total loss. Getting hit by a tow truck is no picnic for man, woman or vehicle.
Of course, you know that.
